Piano and theory lessons.
Lessons are available on a weekly basis (term time) for a duration of either 30, 45 or 60 minutes.
Our first meeting will be a free 30 minute consultation in which we can become acquainted and make an individual lesson plan incorporating your objectives and musical preferences.
Please download the Agreement for Music Tuition (below) which sets out all matters relating to your studies.
Piano accompaniment
Leslie is known as a sensitive and skilled chamber pianist with the musicianship and interpersonal skills required to support and enhance your music making. Whatever your project, please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
*Pricing:
- Piano lessons (in person): £40/hour or part thereof.
- Piano lessons (online): £36/hour or part thereof.
- Theory lessons (in person): £34/hour or part thereof.
- Theory lessons (online): £30/hour or part thereof.
*Lessons are usually paid for in advance of the teaching term, though individual payment plans can be discussed where necessary. Notice of any increase in fees will be issued at least one whole term in advance. Teaching materials, examination and competition fees will be charged for at cost.
- Exam accompaniment grades 1-5: £50 incl. two rehearsals
- Exam accompaniment grades 6-diploma: £60 incl. two rehearsals

Whether or not formal music exams and competitions suit you and your learning style, I always aim to make my lessons engaging and well structured. We'll tap into what you enjoy most to maximise your sense of progress, achievement and fun!
A comfortable and professional teaching and rehearsal studio is available with an exceptional Kawai RX-7 semi-concert grand piano and recording equipment. Parents may remain in the teaching studio or waiting area for the duration, and there's always tea and coffee on the go.
